memerdekakan adalah
peroses pendidikan yang menuntun murid di dalam mereka mengembangkan
potensi-potensi positif yang ada, yang dilandasi dari kebebasan di dalam
mengeksplorasi potensi-potensi tersebut, bebas dari berbagai tekanan baik dari
tekanan dari dalam diri individu murid tersebut, maupun dari dalam luar diri.
namun meskipun demikian pendidikan yang memerdekakan ini haruslah di landasi
dari prinsip among. Pendidikan yang memerdekakan menurut KHD adalah suatu
proses pendidikan yang meletakan unsur kebebasan anak didik untuk mengatur
dirinya sendiri, bertumbuh dan berkembang menurut kodratnya secara lahiriah dan
batianiah. Jadi, pendidikan yang memerdekakan adalah proses seorang individu menuju
keselamatan dan kebahagiannya dari terbebasnya individu tersebut dari berbagai
tekanan secara internal maupun secara eksternal diri.

Education that liberates is education that focuses on overall/physical and spiritual changes based on the natural nature of each individual. The independence referred to in education is three things, standing alone, not depending on others and being able to self-regulate. Education that liberates cultivates feelings, hearts, bodies and intentions in a balanced way. So that with this balance will produce a society full of wisdom. The principle I believe in regarding education is that everyone is born with a unique nature, where no one is the same as one another. Each of them is still being developed in accordance with the optimal innate talent. Each student is like a star that shines brightly in their respective skies.
- What thoughts do you feel need to be eliminated or feel that they are not in line and relevant anymore after you have gone through the learning process?
What thoughts do I feel need to be removed or feel that they are not in line and relevant anymore after I have gone through the learning process, namely the thought that says that children are white paper, where the teacher is free to make scribbles to color the child's abilities. In fact, children who are born already have traits, talents and abilities that are still vaguely visible, our job as educators is to confirm or sharpen those lines that are still vague with various learning activities according to the needs of students.
